The Loader That Left Petrol Behind
Rising fuel prices. Heavier loads. Longer routes. For auto loader operators across Pakistan, every working day is a calculation — and petrol is making that calculation harder by the month.
Economia's answer is not a new vehicle. It is a conversion — and it is built, designed, and manufactured right here in Pakistan.
Proudly Pakistani. Officially Protected.
Before anything else, this matters: Economia's electric conversion kit is not an imported product or a foreign design adapted for local use. It is locally designed, developed, and manufactured — and its intellectual property is formally recognised by Pakistan's IPO.
The kit holds a registered Design Approval (Design No. 22325-D for 125cc, Design No. 22323-D for 70cc, approved October 2023) and a full Technology Patent (Patent No. 656/2023, approved October 2023). When you convert with Economia, you are investing in technology that belongs to Pakistan.
More Power. More Torque. No Apology.
The first thing operators notice after conversion is not what's missing. It is what's been added.
At the heart of the kit is a 1.5KW PMSM motor — a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor, which in plain terms means it delivers smooth, powerful, and efficient drive with very little heat and almost no maintenance. Unlike a petrol engine that has to rev up and work through gears to build pulling force, this motor delivers its full torque the instant you move. For a loaded auto loader climbing a road incline or pulling weight through stop-and-go traffic, that difference is felt immediately.
And climbing? The converted loader handles gradients comparable to what petrol-based auto loaders, motorcycle rickshaws, and auto rickshaws manage every day — at full load. The electric powertrain does not struggle where the petrol engine used to strain.
Top speed sits at 40 km/h — the right speed for urban and peri-urban routes where these vehicles operate, and consistent with standard traffic conditions.
Fuel Prices Are Not Coming Down
Pakistan's petrol prices have climbed sharply over recent years, and there is no credible case that sustained relief is coming. For auto loader operators who refuel daily, this is not an abstract concern — it is a direct cut into earnings, every single week.
The converted electric loader eliminates that exposure entirely. The kit uses a LiFePO4 battery — the safest, most stable, and longest-lasting battery chemistry available for vehicle applications. It runs on 48V or 60V depending on configuration, and here is where the real flexibility lies:
You choose your range based on your route:
- Option 1 — Two batteries (1.8KW–2.3KW each): 50 to 60 kilometres per charge. Ideal for shorter city routes.
- Option 2 — Three batteries: 75 to 85 kilometres per charge. Suits medium-distance daily operations.
- Option 3 — Four batteries: 90 to 110 kilometres per charge. Built for operators running long routes or multiple shifts.
Batteries can be added or removed as your requirements change. You are not locked into one configuration.
Charging uses a built-in 2-stage charger — no separate equipment to buy or carry. Plug into a standard household outlet and, depending on your battery configuration, you are fully charged in 2 to 6 hours. Most operators charge overnight and start the morning with a full load.
The cost per kilometre on electric is a fraction of petrol — and unlike pump prices, electricity costs are stable and predictable.
What the Conversion Involves
Economia's retrofit kit replaces the internal combustion engine, fuel system, and drivetrain with the electric motor, battery pack or packs of your choice, a 48V/60V 55A controller, and the battery management system — all matched and calibrated for auto loaders, auto rickshaws, and motorcycle rickshaws.
The entire electric kit, including one battery, weighs just 20 kilograms. Additional batteries can be fitted as needed. The frame, body, wheels, and braking system remain completely untouched — your vehicle handles identically to how it did before, fits the same routes and loading bays, and can still be serviced by any mechanic familiar with the mechanical side.
The load capacity after conversion is comparable to the petrol-based equivalent. This is not a stripped-down version of your vehicle. It is your vehicle, with a better engine.
The Practical Path Forward
A new electric loader is a significant purchase many operators cannot justify — unfamiliar brands, uncertain after-sales support, and high upfront cost create real barriers. Conversion removes all of them. You keep the vehicle you trust and replace what has become your most expensive, most unreliable component: the petrol engine.
The technology is patented. The design is registered. The performance is proven on Pakistan's roads.
If you operate an auto loader, auto rickshaw, or motorcycle rickshaw — whether a single vehicle or a working fleet — speak to Economia's team about your specific vehicle, your daily routes, and your load requirements. We will give you an honest assessment of which battery option suits your operation, what the conversion involves, and what you stand to save from day one.
Your loader. Stronger. Cheaper to run. Ready for whatever fuel prices do next.
